"Rain
A soft sphere that explodes upon impact, it hesitates but hugs you tighter the more it arrives. It separates once hit and scatters around the surface. It later rises back to the sky waiting for it to implode once again and hug the people below. A vertical stampede. What falls, rises. What rises falls. The earth wakes up and it deepens its smell. It clings to the bullets and soaks it in claiming authority over its food. What dies, lives. What lives dies. It adheres to each branch, twig, blade, and leaf that peaks above ground. Then sneakily it inches away from where it is unqualified to be and stretches for the earth. It freezes and becomes like brick then melts and rises, spoiling itself to another journey. A perfect paradox.
Have you ever wondered what these little things have to offer?
Afterall, what does the capricious sky have to tell us? We need only to spend time with it."
I've started a book! This is more of a personal project. I've always loved words and figuring out how to describe things, feelings, and experiences. With that being said, why not also illustrate these words?
